Kingsnorth Veterinary Centre Open Day

Kingsnorth Veterinary Centre, part of the Cinque Ports Veterinary Associates group ,held their open day on Sunday 5th June to celebrate their 10 year anniversary , caring for pets and their owners in the Ashford and surrounding areas. They also used the opportunity to help raise £220.00 for the RSPCA Garden Cattery in Ashford and Mallydams Wildlife Centre in Fairlight near Hastings by having dog agility, face painting and cake and refreshments stalls.

Despite the turn in the weather their spirits were not dampened. Sue Collini from Scurries Dog Agility and Flyball put on a fantastic display and were on hand to help the public and their dogs have a try as well.

Sharon Marsh, Managing Partner and Veterinary Surgeon of Kingsnorth Veterinary Centre said ''I'm very impressed by the support we have received for this event considering the weather conditions. Everyone was in high spirits and it was a pleasure to be able to show people behind the scenes of the surgery and meet the staff. Everyone was interested in seeing the equipment and how the surgery runs. We also held a very successful microchipping event and we even microchipped a couple of tortoises.

Richard Williams, Senior Partner of Cinque Ports Veterinary Associates said "it has been great to see Kingsnorth Veterinary Centre develop in the past 10 years as a progressive, friendly, compassionate and caring team where every pet and owner is treated as an individual".

Kingsnorth Veterinary Centre would like to thank the Guide Dogs for the Blind, RSPCA Garden cattery, Milbourn Equine and Cherry Trees pet crematorium and Merial manufacturers of Frontline Combo for supporting the event.

Cinque Ports Veterinary Associates will be continuing to support National Microchipping Month in June by offering a 15% discount throughout the whole month.
