We have had some wildlife visitors at our Kingsnorth branch over the weekend. An owl was brought in by a police officer after being found dazed in the road and a pigeon was brought in by a member of the public with a damaged wing.
Meet Brian a lovely 10 month old English Bull Terrier Cross. His owners, the Talbots rehomed him a few weeks ago from Coventry. After having him for a week they booked him in with us to have him castrated.
With the cold weather upon us it can be tempting to take a break in the ongoing battle to keep your pets and your home flea free!
The long winter months are often a time of inactivity and weight gain for many pets. However keeping our pets fit and trim is just as important for pets as it is ourselves. Obesity is known to cause or worsen a number of conditions including arthritis, heart disease and diabetes mellitus to name but a few!

The problem of loneliness amongst many senior people is an all too familiar problem in our society – particularly at Christmas time. But can pets help combat this problem?
Christmas is often a time where we see a number of pets accidently poisoned! Many common household items which are often found in the house this time of year are poisonous and should be kept well away from your pets. If you think your pet has accidently eaten something poisonous then please contact us immediately as it can be life threatening.
Christmas is a time of celebration for most people, however it is not always so enjoyable for our pets.
