ZONE VISIT SCHEME |

We are pleased to announce the merger of Cinque Ports
Veterinary Associates and Milbourn Equine Clinic, a
fabulous new equine clinic on the outskirts of Ashford.
The equine practice now covers the area from Lewes
to Canterbury and Rye to Tunbridge Wells.
To help you, our loyal clients, in these difficult
economic times we are offering free of charge visits
under the “ZONE VISIT SCHEME”. This is
an additional service to the visits that you currently
receive so that you can either:
a) Book an appointment with a particular vet at a specific
time and pay our normal charge,
or
b) Take advantage of our free zone visit scheme.
Example: Your horse is due for annual flu vaccination
and tooth rasping. You would telephone the practice
to see what day of the week a vet will be in your
area under the zone visit scheme.
The call out charge is free if all other fees (i.e.
vaccination and teeth rasping) are paid at the time
of consultation. We are currently offering a discount
on tooth rasping when performed in conjunction with annual vaccination (flu/tetanus
booster - £38.00) or (equine influenza booster - £35.50).
On one day per week, the practice will offer reduced rate call outs to our
equine clients. The call out rate will be FREE if all other charges are paid
at the time of consultation, otherwise a £26.00 charge (including VAT) will
apply.
The scheme is designed to encompass routine vaccinations,
dentistry, health checks and routine examinations.
X-rays, scans, vettings, endoscopy, detailed lameness
work-ups are not included in the scheme but are obviously
still available at the standard rate.
The practice area is divided into zones by postcode
and each postcode within our practice area will have
a specific day for zoned visits(see enclosed list and
check which day covers your yard’s postcode).
The visits must be pre-booked by 5.00 pm the day before
at the latest. Appointments are available on a first
come first served basis, so book early to avoid disappointment.
• Specific times cannot be booked but
if you telephone the practice between 9.00 am and 9.30 am on the day
of your appointment we should be able to give you an
indication of an early or late morning or afternoon
slot. If you require an appointment at a specific time,
these are still available at the standard rate.
• Appointments cannot be booked with a specific vet but
your visit will be from one of our team of experienced
equine vets. Should you require an appointment with
a particular vet, these are still available at the
standard visit rate that we currently operate.
• To book your appointment, please contact your regular
surgery (i.e. Hawkhurst, Milbourn or Rye) who will
co-ordinate your appointment even if your zone is administered
by one of our other surgeries.
