At Cinque Ports Vets, we know that visiting the vets can be stressful for many pets, especially cats. Cats are sensitive, independent and often prefer calm, quiet surroundings, which is why our Cinque Ports Cat Clinic was created.
Launched in July 2023, our cat-only clinic in the peaceful Kent village of Wye was designed to make veterinary visits feel less stressful for feline patients and their owners. From longer appointment times to a specially designed waiting area and consultation room, every part of the clinic was shaped around the needs of cats.
Please note: due to staffing challenges, our Cat Clinic is temporarily closed from 7th February 2025 until further notice. This is not a permanent closure, as we remain passionate about offering this important service again in future.

Madeleine is so empathetic with cats, and we are thrilled to have the facility of Wye Cat Clinic and have our elderly cat in her care.
The staff are professional and caring, and they are always very welcoming.

The Wye Cat Clinic is just perfect for us to access living in Kennington. Miffy is nearly 17 and has hyperthyroid and renal conditions. Madeleine is a wonderful, empathetic vet and supported by nurse Laura ensures that Miffy is never stressed and always has time to hear all we want to say.
Madeleine went above and beyond by following up with a house call when she couldn’t remember if she’d checked Oleg’s kidneys at the appointment we’d just had. Knowledgeable, thorough, and dedicated!
