June is the 11th National Microchipping Month, and it aims to educate pet owners about the benefits of microchipping and the importance of keeping contact details up to date.
National Micrcohipping Month is sponsored by Petlog, the UK’s largest lost and found database for microchipped pets, holding the keeper contact details for more than seven million pets.
As of 2016 it will be compulsory for all dogs to be microchipped and your contact details kept up to date. To make this easier Petlog has Petlog Premium, allowing you to update your details as often as you like for FREE, so that if the worst happens and your dog does go missing, you have the best chance of being reunited. With Petlog Premium you can now update your contact details and report your dog as lost direct from your smart phone via the FREE mydog app or the mycat app.
