  • What does the RCVS Practice Standards Scheme mean for you and your pets?

Pets are important members of the family and owners rightly want to be sure they receive excellent medical treatment. But how can you be sure?

Cinque Ports Vets are proud to announce they have recently been inspected by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and have passed with flying colours!Accredited%20practice%20logo

As an RCVS accredited practice all our branches have passed an inspection carried out by an experienced RCVS inspector who is also a qualified Veterinary Surgeon.

The inspection focuses on a range of standards such as hygiene, legal standards and health and safety. We are also required to have a range of diagnostic facilities which Cinque Ports Vets has over and above those required by the RCVS for the Practice Standards scheme. These include ECG, ultrasound and digital X-Ray facilities along with in house laboratory diagnostic equipment.

What does all this mean for you and your pet?

Our branches will be re inspected every 4 years and will be subject to spot checks in the meantime, so we will have to keep everything up to standard. The RCVS accreditation ensures that we offer high quality care in the parts of the practice you can see as well as those you can’t.

Look for the RCVS accredited practice logo in your branch.
