  • Lydd temporary branch closure frequently asked questions
  • Why is your Lydd branch temporarily closing?

Due to operating with fewer staff than usual, Cinque Ports Lydd will temporarily close on January 1, 2024 for the foreseeable future. This decision was not made lightly, and we understand the impact it may have on you and your beloved pets.

The closure is temporary until our recruitment process is complete, and we are committed to re-opening our Lydd clinic as soon as possible. We will continue to deliver excellent care across our other branches in Ashford, Hawkhurst, Rye, Wye Cat Clinic and Tenterden. Our clinic in Rye is 20 minutes from Lydd, and we will still offer 24/7 emergency cover at our Ashford Kingsnorth hospital, which is also nearby.

This decision has been made to consolidate our services and improve the overall quality of veterinary care we provide to our clients and their pets. Rest assured, our other branches in nearby areas will continue to operate, and our dedicated staff will be more than happy to assist you at those locations.
